What this app does

Reorder Radar is a Shopify app that monitors merchant inventory levels, sends low-stock alerts, and manages purchase orders.

Data we collect

When you install Reorder Radar, we access and store the following data from your Shopify store via the Shopify API: product and variant information (titles, SKUs, inventory quantities), aggregate order line quantities from the last 30 days (used solely to compute sales velocity for reorder-point suggestions), and your store's domain. You may additionally provide: an alert email address, a Slack webhook URL, and supplier contact details (name, email).

We do not collect, store, or process your customers' personal information. Customer names, addresses, emails, and payment details never reach our systems.

How we use data

Data is used exclusively to provide the app's features: evaluating stock levels against your reorder points, sending you alerts and digests, and generating purchase orders you choose to send to your suppliers. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use the following subprocessors: hosting infrastructure (Fly.io), database hosting (Supabase), and transactional email delivery (Resend) for alerts and purchase-order emails. Each receives only the minimum data required to perform its function.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, your access tokens are deleted immediately. All remaining store data is permanently deleted within 48 hours of receiving Shopify's shop redaction webhook. You may also request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

GDPR & compliance webhooks

We implement Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because we store no customer personal data, customer data requests and redactions are no-ops; shop redaction permanently deletes all stored shop data.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in access-controlled databases. API credentials are stored encrypted and never logged.
